The accompanying consolidated balance sheet at May 31, 1998 and the consolidated statements of operations for the six and three months ended May 31, 1998 and 1997 and consolidated statements of cash flows for the six months ended May 31, 1998 and 1997 are unaudited and, in the opinion of management, contain all adjustments, consisting of only normal recurring accruals, necessary for a fair presentation. The operations of Carnival Corporation and its subsidiaries and affiliates are seasonal and results for interim periods are not necessarily indicative of the results for the entire year.
