With the nationals fast approaching the two teams have both made numerous modifications to their boats. New hulls have been designed and in testing look to be faster. The response from all the people has been amazing. The television coverage and newspaper story have really helped put Congupna back in the spotlight. We hope to continue to adapt the boats to the conditions we had in Melbourne which was about 30% sun. If the sun is around 80% we know the boats will fly. In other news the students in the senior room have been researching the ships of the First Fleet. They are making either a PowerPoint or a poster. Tim, Haydn and Ryan are looking to be right on time as they are due on Friday. The chickens are now three weeks old and growing fast. They have some adult feathers and are trying to fly around the cage. We have not named the chickens as we have to many disagreements. One of the student’s wanted to call a chicken “Popcorn” after KFC popcorn chicken. Very funny but not appropriate.
