If you are serious fly-fisherman, bring your “arsenal” of flies in color variations, as you never know what trout will be eating on any particular day. Recommended spin-cast lures: Small Mepps and/or Rooster Tails 1/8 to 1/16 oz in a wide array of colors with a preference to earth tone. Float Bubbles (small egg shaped and clear) to use with dry flies. Monofilament line 2 to 4 pound test works best. We recommend 3-5 wt. fly rods and lightweight 5-6X tippet for your dry fly presentations. On windy days you may prefer sinking line, however small non-toxic bead shot works good for sinking nymphs. Nets and waders are usually unnecessary bulk, however if you have lightweight packable waders you are welcome to bring them. On fly-fishing trips we may have float tubes with neoprene waders available for the group to share if desired. ALL FISHING RODS MUST BE IN BREAKDOWN PACKABLE ROD CASES. ALL FLY BOXES AND ASSESSORIES SHOULD BE SMALL AND COMPACT .
