Apologies for Absence/ Substitutions Shropshire Council agreed on 22 July that the requirement that parish/town council substitutes should be notified three days prior to a meeting was too inflexible. It was agreed that provided the named substitutes are confirmed at the beginning of the municipal year then no further notice in advance of meetings would be required. If there are any apologies or substitutions then please contact David Wise as soon as possible before the meeting. 2. Declarations of Interest Members to disclose any personal or prejudicial interests they may have in the business to be transacted. 3. Note A note of the last meeting held on 13 July 2010 is attached. Innovating Mobile Library Services Shropshire Council have set up a cross-party group of councillors to examine how they provide mobile library services across the county, and how they can best meet the needs of Shropshire residents. A presentation on the review of services delivered by mobile libraries will be made by James Anthony-Edwards, Head of Libraries and Information. (Contact 01743 255019) 5. Community Games 2012 The Community Games project aims to bring the inspiration of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic to the West Midlands through a series of "Community Games" involving participants in a wide range of activities. A presentation on the project in Shropshire being run by Energise Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin will be made by Alison Evans (Contact 01743 255091) 6. Current Policing issues – PACT (Partners and Communities Together An opportunity to raise any issues with your local police officers. Contact PC Dave Harte (0300 333 3000) 7. Funding applications To consider the attached report on eleven funding applications. Public Question Time / Identification of future agenda items The proposed holding of a rurality forum at the next meeting will be explained by the Chairman. 9.
