AMBITION Dance Productions – 2020 Dress Code Requirements All students must be wearing cover ups outside studio classrooms. Class Type Dress, Shoes & Hair Requirements PINK Leotard, PINK convertible tights – attached skirts acceptable. Removable skirts not allowed. Shoes: Tap Combos: Black Patent Leather tap shoe with Young Children’s Program Combo snap ties Classes: Ballet: Pink Leather Ballet Shoes with full sole Baby Ballet Jazz Combo: Tan Jazz Shoe Ballet, Tap Tumble Hair: neat ponytail or bun secured so that dancer and or Ballet, Tap, Jazz teacher is not having to adjust hair during class If your dancer attends Pre-Ballet before or after a combo class they can wear their studio ballet leotard to this class Regular Season – August through mid June: All dancers will be required to wear an Ambition Dance Productions specific leotard that will be ordered through the studio – no exceptions. No skirts. If you have ordered a leotard and are waiting to come in please wear black leotard. Ballet Levels 1-4 including Pre-Ballet, Pre- Summer Session: Dancers may wear their Ambition ballet pointe & Pointe, Contemporary Ballet leotard or any color leotard. Tights: Ballet Pink with no rips or tears Shoes: So Danca pink canvas split sole ballet shoe Hair: Neat bun – hair net over bun recommended Form fitting warm ups must be removed after first couple of exercises determined by the teacher. Bottoms: Form fitting leggings, form fitting shorts, jazz pants Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary Tops: Leotards (any color), form fitting tanks, sports bras Mini Jazz, Mini Musical Theater Leaps & Turns Shoes: Tan Bloch Pulse Jazz Shoes (jazz, lyrical, leaps & Musical Theater turns, Drill Team, Musical Theater). No socks unless Drill Team Classes allowed by instructor Loose fitting warm ups allowed but must be removed at time determined by instructor. Tanks, sports bra must be worn under t-shirts, cover ups. Instructor may ask loose t- shirts or tank tops to be removed so please wear appropriate dance attire under cover up. Hair: Neat bun or French twist. Neat pony tail or braid secured so that dancer is not having to adjust hair during class. Bottoms: form fitting legging, form fitting short or tap short. No loose, baggy pants allowed. Tops: Leotards, form fitting tanks, form fitting t-shirt, sports bra Tap including Mini Tap Shoes: Black lace up tap oxford tied securely – never to be worn outside Hair: Neat bun or pony tail or braid secured so that dancer is not having to adjust hair during class. Bottoms: Sweatpants, leggings or shorts Top: tank tops, t–shirts, or leotard Shoes: CLEAN tennis shoes / sneakers that have not been Hip Hop including Mini Hip Hop and will not be worn outside – no boots or black / marking soles. Shoes should be only worn at the dance studio. Hair: Out of face secured so that dancer is not having to adjust hair during class Bottoms: Form fitting leggings or shorts Tops: Leotards, form fitting tanks, sports bras Loose fitting warm ups allowed but must be removed at time determined by instructor. Tanks, sports bra must be Acro, Flexibility & Control worn under t-shirts, cover ups. Instructor may ask loose t- shirts or tank tops to be removed so please wear Stretch & Conditioning appropriate dance attire under cover up Tumbling Hair: Neat ponytail, neat bun secured so that dancer is not having to adjust hair during class Shoes: None .
