After spending his first two years at Serra, he decided to transfer to a local public school for his junior year because he was concerned about his family’s financial situation. By his own admission, his attitude and behavior were not always in keeping with our school’s standards—which led him to some difficulties. Immediately upon his arrival at his new school, the student began to doubt his decision. He missed Serra’s quality programs, structure and expectations. He missed the commitment of his Serra teachers, who helped him to be the THE ANNUAL REPORT ISSUE very best person he could be—academically, morally and spiritually.
