The continuing consumer focus on balanced dietary requirements and healthy lifestyles continued to enhance demand for more varied, convenient, tasteful, nutritional food and beverage products in 2004. Against this background, the Group’s food ingredients, flavours and consumer foods businesses all performed well with sustained progress across all geographic markets.
