Colorado Elections 2020 AMBER VALDEZ VALDEZ PUBLIC AFFAIRS President Joe Biden- 55.41% Donald Trump- 41.92% Statewide Senate John Hickenlooper- 53.51% Cory Gardner- 44.19% CD 1 Diana Degette- 74.3% CD 2 Joe Neguse- 61.3% CD 3 Lauren Boebert- 51.3% CD 4 Ken Buck- 60.2% Congress CD 5 Doug Lamborn- 57.6% CD 6 Jason Crow- 57.1% CD 7 Ed Perlmutter- 59.1% Democrats increased their lead by 1 seat and will control the Senate 20-15 Senator Bob Rankin (R) won by about 1% Senator Kevin Priola (R) won by just under 1% State Senate Democrat Chris Kolker picked up an (R) open seat 20(D)-15(R) Democrats Rachel Zenzinger and Jeff Bridges were considered targets but won with comfortable margins Representatives Larry Liston, Sonia Jaquez Lewis, Janet Buckner, and James Coleman all successfully moved to the Senate Representative Bri Buentello (HD 47) lost her seat to Republican Stephanie Luck • Representative Richard Champion (HD 38) State House lost his seat to Democrat David Ortiz • Republicans were trying to cut the 41(D)-24(R) Democrat majority by 3 seats to narrow the committee make up but ¾ targeted Democrats Reps.
