MAGLIFE Serenity Vital Signs Monitor A state-of-the-art monitoring system for MRI examinations There are two features that don’t seem to go together: ECG monitoring and MRI examination! Magmedix now offers a unit that provides ECG recording for use in the MRI. The MAGLIFE Serenity reduces the risk of burns and signal physiological equipment interference to a minimum and permits standardized opera- tion just as in a conventional environment. During MRI examinations, the body temperature may increase or decrease by several degrees. Therefore, neonates, infants as wellas patients suffering from reduced thermo- regulation, severe vascular disorders, cardiac arrhythmia, poor general condition or epi- lepsy require special monitoring during the examination.
