We are extremely excited about this season. The whole organization has worked hard to produce a selection of exciting music that appeals to a wide range of audiences and tastes. As such, we are asking all our friends and patrons to help us spread the word about the upcoming concerts and the captivating works we are offering this season. We would appreciate it so much if you would do so. The 2018-2019 concert season features immortal, soul-stirring classics such as Mozart’s Eine Kleine Nachtmusik and Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker, as well as contemporary classics from the Broadway musicals The Wizard of Oz and Porgy and Bess to Jazz from Miles Davis. Our Family Discovery concert is based on music that inspires children of all ages. This season also brings our annual Veterans Day Concert and Christmas Spectacular. It has been our mission for the past 35 years to foster and encourage the appreciation of music through live concert performances and educational programs that are diverse, enriching and of the highest quality. However, reaching this goal would not be possible without the work of our Board and administrative colleagues, The Symphony Guild, our corporate sponsors, individual donors and most importantly you, the patron. Your enthusiasm and generosity are the reasons we are able to continue our fine tradition of classical, pops and educational performances for present and future generations. So as we like to say, please sit back, relax and enjoy the Music of your Murfreesboro Symphony Orchestra. Jane E.
