It motivates and impels us. It is a memory that we must call to mind every day and be renewed, lest it disap- pears and is completely forgotten. It is a memory that calls us to action demanding a new and fresh pursuit. The 47th General Chapter chose to reflect on the theme: Renewing our Mission – Gratitude, Prophe- cy, Hope in light of the provocative and dynamic force of the Memoria Passionis. The Chapter’s goal was to promote reflection and response to the call of renewal of our mission throughout the Congregation and the Passionist Family with the awareness that ‘what we do’ is closely linked to ‘who we are’.
