EWS100 and EWS80 No prequalification requirements. Limited spots. The Enduro Sports Organization Limited is acting as agent for the local organizer Velo Caroux Haut-Languedoc EWS and EWS100 161.50 GBP EWS80 98.25 GBP Entry fee includes 1 full day of racing, 1 day of closed course marshalled training, full course medical coverage on training and race days, shuttle transfers on race day, race day feed zone, live timing, backup timing, post training beers and snacks, post race meal. CANCELLATION POLICY Registration fees are refundable (less an administrative fee) up to 3 weeks prior to the race. Cancellation request must be sent to a [email protected] by 23:59 GMT September 25. Entries will be available directly through the organizers. Details to be confirmed. *Experienced 15-16 year old racers also have the option to sign up for the EWS80. EWS MEMBERSHIP EWS memberships are valid for a calendar year (January-December). 2020 memberships can be renewed / purchased s tarting January 1, 2020 at: L INK Cost 31.99GPB (subject to VAT where applicable) EWS EWS Memberships mandatory for eligibility and event entry. EWS100 and EWS80 EWS memberships are optional for EWS100 and EWS80 racers, but: ● Only EWS members will be eligible to collect EWS Global Ranking points at the EWS 100 or 80 race (as well as EWS Continental Series and EWS Qualifier Series events). ● Only EWS members will be added to the EWS Reserved Entry List and offered priority registration for the following season. ● Only EWS members will be eligible to race on a Nations team at the T rophy of Nations A rider must hold a valid EWS membership prior to starting the race in order to collect EWS Global Ranking points. No points will be awarded retrospectively should a rider purchase an EWS membership after an event. RACE LICENSE EWS The EWS is a UCI Category 3 race. All racers must have a UCI license issued by their own national cycling federation. Riders will be required to present their license (copies or photos acceptable) at the onsite checkin. EWS100 / EWS 80 Non-licensed riders or riders with an FFC “Licences Loisirs et Performance” will be permitted to register upon presentation of a medical certificate (issued within the previous 12 months) certifying fitness for competitive sports / mountain bike racing . The medical certificate requirement does not apply to EWS100 / EWS80 racers who have a UCI race license issued by their own national federation or an FFC “Licence Compétition”. INSURANCE The following medical insurance is available for racers injured during training or race days. https://admin.enduroworldseries.com/uploads/documents/races/1578234257.pdf Racers should still have their own personal travel, medical and personal liability insurance coverage: •medical costs for any injuries sustained outside of scheduled official training or race days. •material damages (loss of earnings) in case of accident on the occasion of a cycling competition or during training. •Third-party liability insurance for material damage or bodily injury caused to others in the course of a competition or cycling event or during training. Race stages are closed during official training to all but racers, accredited media and official EWS Team staff. All riders on course during practice must have plates on their bikes.
