Firm Profile | Sustainability | Connect FEATURED PROJECTS MUSIC, THEATRE & DANCE ON CAMPUS IN THE CIVIC REALM HOUSING HOSPITALITY RENOVATIONS / ADDITIONS CURRENT WORK Boston Public Library - Central Branch Johnson Building Improvements Boston, MA LIBRARIES AND COURTHOUSES The Johnson Building project consists of City of Rochester 156,000 SF in renovations in two phases to the landmarked 1972 Phillip Johnson City of Cambridge Addition to the Central Branch of the Boston Public Library. The BPL seeks to Boston Public Library welcome the public, engage young patrons, Mattapan Branch and demonstrate that the library is a place for life-long learning and exploration. The Boston Public Library renovations include the removal of the East Boston Branch granite plinths, which currently block the ground floor windows, and replacement of Boston Public Library Johnson Building Improvements the dark glazing with a visually transparent curtainwall. US Courthouse, Cedar Rapids Phase 1, completed in early 2015, provides SACRED SPACES greater and improved amenities for the Reference, General Collections, Childrens, HEALTHCARE and Teens. PARKING GARAGES Phase 2, completed in the summer of 2016, removes the granite plinths. The three bays POLICE / FIRESTATIONS facing Boylston open up to create a new two-story Boylston Hall, which includes PLANNING + CORPORATE additional entry points and retail on the northwest corner.
