Newsletter April - June, 2020 Vol 6 Issue 2 1 President’s Message Greetings, I hope this issue finds all of you and your families safe and healthy. Due to the cancellation of the car shows and events in April, May, and June, the next couple of newsletters will be dedicated to showcasing the beautiful cars of our members. The pictures and descriptions shown in this issue come directly from our website. If you would like to see your car on our website and featured in the newsletter, just follow the simple instructions on page 3. You can also add your photo(s) to our member directory. Emma Reardon will make every effort to assist you. It would be great to see all of our members photos and cars! At this point we do not expect to have access to the La Verne Community Center any time soon. We will keep you posted on our next meeting date. In the meantime, I encour- age you to call your fellow members to stay in touch. Two new pages have been added to the CAL-RODS website. One page replaces the Car Gallery that required clicking on a thumbnail picture to view a larger picture. The gallery allowed just 200 characters of text including spaces and punctuation to provide car attributes. Despite using abbreviations, it was nearly impossible to describe the car in a readable and sensible manner. You can now enjoy the beautiful cars in our Club and a full description by visiting the CAL-RODS website at https://www.cal-rods.org The new page can be found by placing your cursor on the "About Us" in the top Navigation Bar on any page and clicking the “CAL-RODS Member Cars” from the drop-down menu. Send Emma Reardon, the Website Administrator, a picture and description of any cars you would like added. She welcomes corrections to any of the existing wording for cars already added. There is no limit on the number of cars each Member can display and no limit on the descriptive words. The second new page displays large pictures of our great looking CAL-RODS Members. This page was created because the Membership Directory allows just thumbnails. Go to http://www.cal-rods.com, click “About Us” in the top Navigation bar and select “CAL-RODS Member Pictures” from the drop-down menu.
