Sir, I am directed to refer to the above cited subject and letter as per which the State Government was intimated about the intension of this office to close/destroy the old files for want of receipt of compliance reports/complete information for consideration of the proposal. 2. As no compliance has been received even after repeated reminders, in accordance with Para 4.14 of the "Handbook of Forest (Conservation) Act, 1980, Rules and Guidelines & Clarifications" issued by the Ministry of Environment and Forests, the 124 project proposals of the State Government as per list attached are rejected for non-furnishing of essential information for the period from 1st January, 2003 to 31st December, 2007. All these files have now been closed and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
