Chance Rides will market the R80XL under an affiliate company, Chance American Wheels. The R80XL Giant Observation Wheel is a non-stop revolving wheel that stands over 250 ft (78m) tall and is the highest wheel built to date in North America since the original Ferris Wheel built in 1893 for the Chicago Worlds Fair. It has 54 eight passenger or 27 sixteen passenger climate controlled cabins. Cabins are available in many different configurations including standing, seated back to back or facing and there is even an option for lush VIP cabins. The cabins allow for full 360 degree view of the surrounding area making the R80XL Giant Observation Wheel the perfect stand-alone tourist attraction in any qualified location. The first R80XL is currently in final assembly in Munich, Germany and will be delivered in the beginning of next year.
