Syllabus The course will examine the phenomenon of colonisation in Magna Graecia and Sicily from both historical and archaeological perspectives. We will analyse in turn the major phases of development and the main architectural, artistic and artisanal productions of several Greek apoikiai in Southern Italy and Sicily from their foundation to the Roman conquest. 1.
