Parents will contribute to the cost of some of these services. All nursery schools operate a three term entry (September, January and after Easter) for three-and four-year olds, where they have places available. All nursery schools also offer free Early Years Education places for two-year-olds and the extended entitlement for three- and four-year- olds often described as 30 hours of free childcare. Eligibility criteria are in place for these services so parents need to make an application for a 2 year old place via Together for Children’s Family Portal.
