Indeed I wrote you a short report about the last year which was so bad but this one is worst. Rakham is empty completely. Thanks be to God, Kharaba came back to the diocese and many of its inhabitants came back. We could fix the church and we have been 3 weeks celebrating liturgy weekly. Greeting in our Lord CHRIST the Savior, who I am asking always to keep you, your family and the Diocese of Wichita by His Grace Bp BASIL. I am so sorry to not send Sayyidna BASIL and the whole brothers and sisters in Wichita dioceses parishes any report of the year 2019. Please accept my regret for the delay of sending this sad letter. You know the catastrophic situation we are having in Syria and Lebanon. The money we still have there is the rest of the amount of 2018 ($2331). The economic situation is getting very worst. The national pound dropped from 500 SP for each dollar in the beginning of this year, to 3000 in June. While in Lebanon dropped from 1500 to 7000. We support the Good Samaritan Association as possible as we can to support our parishes. In the name of all the clergy and laity we give thanks to all our brothers and sisters in the Diocese of Wichita and Mid-American for remembering us always. Please keep us deeply in your prayers.
