COURSE DESCRIPTION A survey history of the central theoretical perspectives, questions and data of sociocultural anthropology. Focusing on significant scholars and case studies, the course explores the development of different ways that anthropologists have formulated and understood fundamental questions concerning human society, culture, change and universals.
