January 4, 2016 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Local Pee Wee Hockey Player from Limoges, ON Named to Selects Hockey’s International Program Burlington, VT – The Selects Hockey organization has selected Jackson Parsons from Limoges, ON at their annual minor peewee international tryout held January 1 at Gordon H. Paquette Arena (Burlington, VT) to join the international program with the East Coast Selects-Q (ECS-Q) hockey team. More than 250 invited players from across North America competed for 17 spots on 4 separate teams. Invited players will participate in the program’s international spring training development camp and World Selects Invitational in Bolzano, Italy this April/May. Participants will be submerged into foreign cultures and face top international competition in this once in a lifetime experience. “Jackson was superb at the tryout. He not only showed he has the skill to be a top hockey prospect but also demonstrated an incredible work ethic and passion on the ice”, commented Peter Baptista, ECS-Q 04 Head Coach. Players were selected by an independent committee of professional hockey coaches, scouts and player development specialists. Selects Hockey is an elite hockey prospect development program operated by LEGACY Global Sports. Since 2003, Selects Hockey has worked with top 11 to 16-year-old hockey players across North America and Europe to expose them to all avenues of hockey in an effort to facilitate opportunities at the NCAA, Junior and Professional levels.
