MICHAEL P. KRUZINSKI, JR. 109th Airlift Wing, Stratton Air National Guard Base Chief Master Sergeant Michael P. Kruzinski is the Superintendent for the 109th Operations Support Squadron, Stratton Air National Guard, New York. He serves as the principle advisor to the squadron commander on matters affecting welfare, readiness, morale, and utilization of 43 Airmen and civilians. Chief Kruzinski is responsible for the overall management and function of one of the most diverse Aircrew Flight Equipment sections in the Air National Guard consisting of LC-130 and C-130 weapon systems which deploy to Greenland and Antarctica. As the Chief Enlisted Manager, he leads a team of 43 total personnel assigned under his supervision in order to execute state and federal missions. Chief Kruzinski entered the Air National Guard in January 1999. He graduated Survival Equipment Apprentice Course in January 2000 as a Survival Equipment Specialist. In 2002, he cross-trained into Aircrew Life Support while assigned to the 109th Air National Guard as a part of the United States Antarctica Program. After 12 years as a member of the 109th, he joined the Alaska Air National Guard where he served as the Aircrew Flight Equipment Superintendent and eventually became the Operations Support Squadron Chief Enlisted Manager for 105 total personnel until February 2017. In March 2017, he took a new position with the 109th Airlift Wing in New York as the Aircrew Flight Equipment Chief Enlisted Manager where he presently oversees the Wing’s Aircrew Flight Equipment program. He has held multiple leadership positions at the section and squadron levels with a vast experience in contingency and deployment operations including Operation DEEP FREEZE, Operation ENDURING FREEDOM and Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa. .
