The Warhawks are 2-1 on the homestand and in the spring portion of the season after defeating Southern, MARCH (0-0) 3-0, on Saturday, Feb. 13, at Brown Stadium. McKenzie Rizqi scored a first-half goal for ULM, while Janet 6 at Nicholls State 2 p.m. Stopka added two goals late in the second half to put the match away. For Stopka, it marked her sixth and 13 LSU-Alexandria 3 p.m. seventh goals of the season, which moves her into a tie for sixth place in program history for goals in a season. 21 at Louisiana Tech 1 p.m. 26 at Alcorn State 5 p.m. Grambling State is scheduled to open the 2020-21 season at 3 p.m. Friday against North Texas at the GSU Soccer Complex. The Tigers finished the 2019 season with a 10-11-1 overall record, reaching the SWAC APRIL (0-0) tournament semifinals before losing to top-seed Howard. Kailey Pena is the top returning goal scorer for the Tigers, netting six goals while also adding four assists in 2019. Laila Loring capitalized on three ULM fouls to score the game-tying goal 66 minutes into the game. COACHING STAFF The two teams went right back at it. Grambling moved toward the goal several times, but a great effort by Head Coach: Sean Fraser Alexiss Trudeau and the rest of the ULM defense stopped the Tigers in their tracks.
