News from the Waunfawr Area Plaid Cymru team 2012 Working hard for people of the Waunfawr area Eurig Wyn “Eurig Wyn and Plaid Cymru worked tirelessly to try and keep the Waunfawr Shop open. Eurig himself collected a petition throughout the area. We are very grateful.” Cled Jones, Owner, Waunfawr Shop. Eurig Wyn led the campaign to attract funds to extend Gwyrfai Cycle route enabling children and adults to walk and cycle safely to Caernarfon through Glanrafon. Following a questionnaire he organised in the area he now leads a campaign to establish a proper play area near Dolerddi and Aelybryn in Gerddi Bach. Eurig will be campaigning for a football pitch for Waunfawr and seeking grant funding towards this.
