Institution is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and is affiliated to JNTUK, Kakinada with a mission of Moulding Students as proficient, competent, and socially responsible engineering personnel with ingenious intellect. Institution is spread in 11.66 acres of land with state of art infrastructure and laboratories, in campus hostel facility for boys and girls separately, in a luster green grounds of serene natural surroundings, and has set a trend in and around Vijayawada in providing quality technical education with a sense of discipline and moral values. Institution started functioning from 2009 with four undergraduate course in engineering with an intake of 240 and is now offering undergraduate courses in Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Post graduate course in M.Tech VLSI Design, CSE and Diploma Level courses with total intake of 828. Institution is governed efficiently by the governing body and we feel privileged of having eminent personality Dr. T Hanuman Chowdary, Founding Chairman and Managing Director of VSNL and Padama Sri Award 2017 as member of the governing body. Through their guidance every effort is being made for overall development of the students, by creating opportunities to participate in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities through various indigenous committees with student members working in coordination with the regular curriculum of the programs offering in various departments. We strongly believe that the present success of the institution is because of the quality concern within the institution at every level and in view of the changing trends in the education systems at the national and international level, felt the need of getting accredited with prestigious accrediting body. As NAAC has developed certain measures for continuous improvements of Higher Education Institutions, hence to get accredited by NAAC. As part of the process college takes the privilege of submitting the FIRST cycle of Self Study Report (SSR) for accreditation. The SSR has been prepared as per the norms set by National Assessment and Accreditation council (NAAC), Bangalore, which gives an insight to our efforts and aspirations. We strongly believe that the quality inspection boosts the morale of the entire team of Dhanekula which in turn makes us serve the stake holders in a better way in future by getting accredited. The college campus is spread over 11.66 acres of land and is a self-financing institution approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to JNTU (Kakinada). The Founder and Chairman of the institution is Sri Dhanekula Ravindranath Tagore, the secretary and correspondent Sri Dhanekula Venkata Bhavani Prasad and the Principal of the institution is Dr. Ravi Kadiyala. The institution is located on the Machilipatmam –Hyderabad Highway at the out skirts of Vijayawada of Andhra Pradesh. The institute for all time seeks to enrich and cater courses to the students based on the global employment market. To achieve, the institution designs and develops a wide range of add on, skill development certification courses. The Internal Training Cell of the Institute also conducts an assortment of value added courses to the students. To uplift, the quality of affluent curriculum to the students, the IQAC team of the college plans and checks for the quality in course content, syllabus completion, course files, examination papers and assignments. The Academic Committee in every department review the curriculum prescribed by the university for the gaps and content to be taught beyond the syllabus and imparts knowledge to the students by uniting conventional methods of chalk and talk, seminars, guest lectures and digital classrooms. A number of co- curricular, extracurricular activities are conducted in the college under Department Associations, Dhanekula Samskruthi an Arts and Cultural Society, NSS, NCC and Games and Sport Committees.
