Fact or fiction: does hitting your next range ball directly behind your previous ball make a difference? Absolutely! If you put your next range ball directly behind the range ball you just hit, it saves grass because you are removing much less turf each shot. It also saves stress on your wrists, hands and back because you are getting less resistance on each shot. Save grass and save your body by practicing smart. When hitting iron shots on the range, make divot lines leaving a strip of grass between the lines so the turf can recover quickly. If we take better care of the driving range, we can all enjoy hitting off the grass more days of the year. See you on the links!
