Played Volleyball for UOG for several years starting in 1993 as a Masters Degree student at UOG. Played basketball and volleyball on athletic scholarship for Seattle Pacific University – 1989 to 1993. Was named to the Seattle Pacific University Athletic Hall of Fame for Women’s Basketball and Volleyball In 2006. Was the NCAA Woman of the Year for the state of Washington in 1993. Guam National Team TOSCA Guam Women’s National Basketball Team – South Pacific Games – 1999 – Guam LINDBERG WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL Played club volleyball on Guam with the Clydesdales and the Haggan Volleyball Club. Played local Guam basketball with several club teams to include Ace Hardware, RC Cola and others that won tournaments at Andersen Air Force Base, Big Navy and the University of Guam. Won many 3 X 3 Basketball tournaments on the island. BIOGRAPHY Attended Classes at the University of Guam from 1971 to 1977 Played for the UOG Triton Football Team 1972 to 1975, 1977 – Was cornerback, running back, offensive right guard and kicker during his career for the Tritons. Awarded September 10, 2015 by the 33rd Guam Legislature. Taught Evidence and Administrative Law at the University of Guam. Late 1970’s – Early 1980s – Started the UOG Women’s Basketball Team. Worked with the Guam Amateur Basketball Union – Started a women’s basketball league that the UOG Women’s Team played in. Became an officer in the Guam Amateur Basketball Union that was the predecessor for the Guam Basketball Confederation which was part of the Guam Olympic Committee. Joined the Guam Basketball Confederation in 1979 and became the Treasurer, Secretary, Vice President and President during his tenure in the organization. Was the Chef De Mission for Team Guam at the 1988 Summer Olympics In Seoul, South Korea. Coached the Guam Men’s and Women’s National Basketball Teams which took the Silver medal at the Pacific Games in 1991 at Papua, New Guinea. HAROLD Supervised and coordinated the basketball tournaments for the South Pacific Games hosted by Guam in 1999. “HANK” Also coached volleyball on the village level on the island. PARKER Was a volleyball and basketball referee on Guam for many years as well as officiating for soccer and WOMEN’S BASKETBALL softball. COACH Was a standout player and coach in the Guam Parks and Recreation leagues. Coached a women’s master’s team at several international tournaments to include Canberra Australia. Served as a coach, commissioner, referee, rules interpreter and secretary general of multiple sports and associations/ leagues on the island of Guam. BIOGRAPHY Taught physical education classes at the University of Guam in the 1970’s. Coached the University of Guam Men’s Basketball Team from 1970 to 1976. Won Guam Island Basketball Championship with undefeated team during his tenure at UOG. Frank’s son, Terry Stotts, won the Most Valuable Player award in the league at 16 years old on the undefeated UOG team. Took the UOG Men’s Basketball Team on several international trips to the Philippines, Japan and Taiwan. Hosted several international tournaments on Guam featuring the UOG squad against teams from the Philippines, Japan and Taiwan. Father of Terry Stotts, head basketball FRANK coach for the Portland Trailblazers in the National Basketball Association STOTTS (NBA). MEN’S BASKETBALL Played basketball for the All-Army COACH Pacific Team while serving in the Army during the Korean war. Started the first “Sports” bar on Guam, the Varsity Club, after he retired. Played college basketball in Illinois. HALL OF FAME BIOGRAPHY Member of the University of Guam Varsity Football Team 1974 to 1975 & 1977 Guam Varsity Football Champion – 1975 with 9-1 record Guam Varsity Football Champion – 1977 with perfect 10-0 record Two-time All-Island Defensive Tackle in 1975 & 1977 1975 – Philippines Football Tour – Subic Bay Naval MARK Base Admirals and Clark Air Force Base Diplomats WESSLING FOOTBALL Voted in the Top 10 of the toughest football players on Guam Played at UOG with his brother, Brian Wessling. BIOGRAPHY Graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s Degree and two Master Degrees. Law Degree from Temple University Player/ Coach for UOG Baseball team in the Guam Major League Coached the Tritons in 1977-1979 seasons. Organized UOG baseball team trips to: 1. Palau 2. Okinawa 3. Philippines Served as the Executive Director of the Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports for Governors Joe Ada, Felix Camacho, and Eddie Calvo.
