Preliminary Programme DLM Forum Member Meeting 21

Preliminary Programme DLM Forum Member Meeting 21 - 22nd May 2019 Bern, Switzerland The Swiss Federal Archives are pleased to invite the members of the DLM Forum to their Annual General Meeting in Bern. During the conference, we will share together a wide variety of recent developments and experiences. We will focus on topics relat- ed to the “sustainability and innovation”. ____________________________ May is the ideal time to discover the city of Bern and the Old Town, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. At this time of year, you can admire the Alps all around the Swiss capital while sipping a traditional Bernese beer on a terrace. If you like to walk there is the longest weather-sheltered shopping promenades in Europe six kil- ometres of arcades that allow you to be in the shade or to walk around without an umbrella in case of rain. Bern is the seat of Switzerland's government. Between the House of Parliament (Bundeshaus) and the Swiss Federal Archives is the Aare River, recognizable by its very green colour and by the bathers who allow themselves to drift away in the clean Aare during their lunch break. Please visit DLM Forum website and register. If you have any questions, please contact Ms Kristi Ots at [email protected]. Looking forward to see you in Bern!
