At York we take pride in staying ahead of the trends by recognizing ideas whose time have come and initiating them. It is for this reason that York introduced the ROTC program in fall 2012, making it the first CUNY college to offer ROTC since it ended at City College nearly 50 years ago. The college offers this platform to prepare students for professional leadership whether or not they choose to enter military service.
