Th e Society shall have a Ge n eral Sectio n a n d also a Parish R egister n Sectio . A perso n shall become a member Of the Society by a yearly su b s c rip tion Of one guin ea either to the General Sectio n or to the Parish S R n n . egister Section , or of two gui eas to the two Sectio s uch sub scriptio n shall be payable i n advan ce On the first day Of October i n each year . E n n ach member havi g paid his subscriptio , shall be entitled to vote n n n at the ge eral meeti gs withi the period subscribed for , and to receive a copy O f every work issued by the Society in the Sectio n or Sections a n d for the period i n respect Of which he has sub scribed p r o vide d th a t a n y question as to the volumes to be issued by the Gen eral Section and by the Parish R egister Sectio n shall be decided by the majority Of the votes Of the members O f the n respective sectio s . Th e man agemen t O f the affairs Of the Society shall be vested i n a n O f n s council co sisting the preside t , ecretaries , editor , treasurer , and at least seve n other members of the Society to be elected at n V the an ua l meeting . acan cies occuring between the gen eral n T meetings may be filled up by the Cou cil . hree shall form a quorum . An an n ual general meeting of the members shall be held in or about O f the month of ctober , to receive a report upo n the work O the ’ a n d u n f Society , the treas rer s fina cial statement to elect O ficers , a council a n d a n auditor for the e n suin g year a n d to tra n sact the n l S ge era business of the ociety . 4 Th e Society or the Council may appoint a special committee co n sisti n g O f members Of the Parish R egister Section to manage the busi n es s Of that Section . Th e Of a n n Council may require the accuracy y tra script , calendar or translation to be tested O n their behalf before it is printed . Th e editor Of a volume shall be entitled to receive five Copies Of the work . NO amendment Of the rules shall be made e xée pt at a general meet Of s n s ing , and notice any propo ed ame dment hall be given to the Of a n d secretary fourteen days before the date the meeting , shall by him be communicated to the members . A . lost two member by death , amely , Lord esteven and the . i n Stoodley Like other learned Societies it has , this time of war , suffered n O f 2 1 a further heavy loss through the resignatio members . Against n Of I O n e w these losses must be set the gai members , who have further ’ f 1 1 swelled the Society s funds by buying volumes to the value O about 4 . Si n ce the year ended two m ore members have resigned and two n e w members have been enrolled .
