fairness is at the heart of our movement and that this should be true in legal matters. It deplores the injustices and unfairness of public bodies using public money for their legal representation whereas the individual or campaign group have to raise their own money to take an action . Examples of this include: · Hillsborough · The infected blood scandal · The Shrewsbury 24 · Orgreave · 1974 Birmingham pub bombings In these cases the mental and financial stress caused is enormous. The length of time to examine the case, if it is examined at all, can be much longer than necessary, with the result that in cases like the
