The brief facts of this case as per the appeal and other records received along with it are that the appellant herein filed an application dated.15-02-2019 before the Public Information Officer requesting to furnish the information under Sec. 6(1) of the RTI Act, 2005 on the following points mentioned: The Public Information Officer did not furnish any information to the Appellant. Stating that he did not receive any information from the Public Information Officer, theTSIC appellant filed 1st appeal dated.25-05-2019 before the First Appellate Authority U/s. 19 (1) of the RTI Act, 2005 requesting him to furnish the information sought by him. As per the records, the First Appellate Authority has not taken action to hear the appeal and to pass orders. Having not received any information from the Public Information Officer /the First Appellate Authority, the appellant preferred this 2nd appeal before this Commission U/s. 19(3) of the RTI Act, 2005 requesting to arrange to furnish the information sought by him. On perusal of the material paper available on record, the Commission found that the information furnished by the Public Information Officer is not relevant to the information sought by the Appellant vide his application dated.15-02-2019. Therefore, the Commission directs the Public Information Officer to verify the plea of the appellant and to furnish required information to the Appellant within (7) days from the date of receipt of this order through Registered Post with Acknowledgement Due under intimation to this Commission. The Public Information Officer is hereby warned not to repeat such lapses in future. With the above direction, the appeal is closed.
