Bras Across the Bridge celebrates Breast Cancer Awareness Month Austin, Texas – October XX, 2012 – Teddies for Betties, The Austin affiliate of The Susan G. Komen Foundation and KASE 101 are teaming up for Bras Across The Bridge Sunday October 27th at 2pm at the pedestrian bridge near Lamar. All are encouraged to bring a gently used bra to donate to women in need. We will take bras and as a symbol of unity and our strong desire to see the end of breast cancer we will link them together to span the bridge. Bras have been donated at Teddies for Betty’s and at the Susan G. Komen booth at BEVO Blvd. before the last UT home game. You can bring a bra to the event. We are gearing up for the Susan G. Komen race for the Cure on November 4th near the Bob Bullock Texas History Museum. Teddies for Betty’s is located at 221 W. 2nd street.
