COLORI® L KNIVES

COLORI® l KNIVES January 2012 OUR COLOURED KNIVES HAVE REVOLUTIONISED CUTTING COLORI® I knives make the kitchen a more colourful place to be and, as far as functionality is concerned, trim perfectly. The highest quality and production standards, as well as high-quality materials such as Japanese carbon steel, give that extra edge to our COLORI® I knives. The supersharp knives with non-stick coating make work easy and guarantee lasting pleasure. With its COLORI® knives Kuhn Rikon has already been bringing colour into the kitchen day-to-day routine for some time. Now its popular, colourful range has been expanded with further practical cutting tools. COLORI® I New Models from Kuhn Rikon The coloured knife range covers all needs – from paring to carving knives. The latter carve wafer-thin slices of poultry, roasts, ham and other large joints of meat outstandingly and precisely. The kitchen knife is also supremely suitable for this but is, however, intended more as an all-purpose knife for the kitchen. Likewise new is the somewhat smaller kitchen knife that sits snugly in the hand when prepping vegetables and fruit. And the matching serrated kitchen knife is excellent for cutting fruit and vegetables with soft skins, or bread. What characterizes all Colori® I knives is their sharp blade from Japanese carbon steel with its non-stick surface coating. For the mini-cleaver and cheese knife in particular this turns out to be extremely practical. These can be used to cube and slice finely. Nothing sticks to the blade – whether garlic, ginger, peppers, herbs or shallots, the curved blade cuts everything quickly and easily. Just try using the knife to cut cheese. It goes through it like butter. Japan cuts a fine figure Japanese carbon steel, from which all the blades in the Colori® I collection are manufactured, is not the only "Japanese" thing about Kuhn Rikon knives. Two knives in typical Japanese style are part of the Colori® range: the santoku knife is perfectly suited to cutting up or chopping meat, fruit and vegetables. And the nakiri knife is a traditional Japanese vegetable knife, ideal for fruit and wafer-thin vegetable slices for salads, vegetable strips for Asian dishes or for the wafer-thin slicing of meat as well as for the preparation of sushi. Whether you use a straight or serrated edge, whether for exotic meals or a simple sandwich – all Colori® I knives have one thing in common: they have been manufactured in accordance with the highest quality and production standards, have an ergonomic, handy handle that makes work not a chore, and adds a touch of colour to the kitchen. This way cooking is twice as much fun. Further stylish designs can also be found in the Kuhn Rikon COLORI® I, Colori® Farmer Market, Colori® Art and Colori® Safari series. We wait with interest to see which knife design will cut the mustard with customers. Strong presence at the POS The exceptionally broad COLORI® knife range not only enjoys an attractive price- performance ratio, it also proves to be very attractive at the point of sale and so generates increased interest. The cheerful colorfulness and the creative quirky designs entice customers to make spontaneous purchases and this proves extremely attractive to the retail trade giving rise to interesting turnover and profit margins.
