AFTERNOON CLASS STARTS AT 3:00 PM SHARP! The afternoon portion of this class takes place on the tracks. Participants are required to attend the class with proper; work shoes or sturdy walking shoes (sneakers are absolutely prohibited), a safety vest, safety glasses, flashlight, and hard hat. Employee’s that are issued personal protective eq and fail to bring ppe to class will not complete class! Shorts, tank-tops and sleeveless shirts are prohibited. Take Ocean Parkway to Avenue U. Make a Left onto Avenue U. Take Avenue U to the intersection of Avenue U, 86th Street and West 13th Street. Go through the intersection and make a Left onto West 13th Street. The Learning Center is an old Public School (PS 248) at the corner of the intersection. There is parking in the rear. FROM DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN AND STATEN ISLAND Use the Belt Parkway (Eastbound) to Bay Parkway. Make a Left onto Bay Parkway. Take Bay Parkway to 86th Street. Make a Right onto 86th Street.
