Luke Skywalker Luke Skywalker’s backstory is that he is a farm boy living on a desert planet called Tatooine with his aunt and uncle. His father, although he doesn’t know it yet, is Darth Vader, a former jedi turned to the dark side. When Luke’s uncle buys a droid named R2D2, R2 plays a message from princess Leia asking for help from ObiWan Kenobi, because ObiWan sucks at hiding and kept the same last name, Luke finds Ben Kenobi (aka ObiWan), and learns that there is a resistance against the powerful empire. Luke meets a smuggler and criminal named Han Solo, who helps him rescue princess Leia and blow up the death star. Luke Skywalker’s only actual power is the use of the force, which can be used for telekinesis and telepathy. Luke also has his lightsaber, which is a saber made out of light (duh). Luke wears a white or black robe, and his identifiable trait is his lightsaber, as one of the only two jedi existing in the universe, if someone were to see his lightsaber, he would would stand out as a jedi like a sore thumb. His enemy as a whole is the empire, though mostly, it is his father or the emperor, as the stormtroopers (the empire’s soldiers), make less shots in the entire 4th, 5th, and 6th, movies than JarJar Binks makes in one battle. In conclusion, Luke Skywalker’s story is pretty simple, a young knight defeating the evil king and rescuing the princess. But his story is iconic none the less. .
