Baker of Newquay. Further Shorthorn x steers for Mr. A.J. Jelbert of Mitchell at 17 months old to £950, with same age Simmental x steers to £955 for Mr. F.J. Moyle of Carnmenellis. Mr. Jelbert’s younger Limousin x steers down to 14 months old hit £925 for five, with his bunch of four same age heifers making £860. A grand entry of four cracking Charolais yearling steers for Messrs. H. Williams & Son of Tehidy realised £895. Five nice named-sire Aberdeen Angus x steers from Mr. G. Carter of Troon 9/11 months old making £740. Overall top on the on the heifer side was a grand 25mo Charolais heifer hitting a big top price of £1,100 for Mr. D.
