Tracey Neale, 2009) Week 11: Deaths and Afterlives Seminar: Brontë Deaths Workshop: The Parsonage Museum and Brontë Bicentenaries *NB: Due to Jane Eyre being primary reading on the core module, LIT3101 Romantic and Victorian Prose, we will not be covering the novel directly on LIT3065. We will, instead, consider how the novel has been subject to post-colonial and neo-Victorian re-readings/re-writings, focusing upon Jean Rhys’ Wide Sargasso Sea. Duals students not taking LIT3101 are invited to attend the lectures on Jane Eyre in the Autumn semester. Optional seminars on Jane Eyre and The Professor will run alongside LIT3065, subject to timetabling and availability. .
