No. 929-3244, 927-9702 Loc.131; Cell phone: 09159111585 ___________________________________________________________________ 4 DRUG PERSONALITIES ARRESTED IN SIMULTANEOUS BUY-BUST OPERATIONS IN DUMAGUETE CITY P1 million worth of shabu seized Four drug personalities were arrested during simultaneous buy-bust operations in Dumaguete City on May 6, 2019 that resulted in the seizure of Php1,020,000.00 worth of shabu. Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Director General Aaron N. Aquino identified the suspects as Joel Elmido y Acojido, Raymond Pis-An, Angie Sanje and July Larena. Elmido and Pis-An were arrested by joint operatives of PDEA Regional Office VII (PDEA RO VII) under the supervision of Acting Director Wardley M. Getalla and local police in Barangay Taclobo, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental that also resulted in the seizure of six pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu weighing more or less 50 grams, with an estimated value of Php340,000.00, and assorted drug paraphernalia. The other operating team conducted buy-bust operation in Purok del Pilar AJ Blanco, Barangay Daro, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental that led to the arrest of Sanje and Larena, and seizure of two pieces of transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu weighing more or less 100 grams, with an estimated value of Php680,000.00, mobile phone, and the buy-bust money. The suspects will be charged for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of Republic Act 9165, or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. # # # .
