Consular Jurisdiction in Accordance with Article 6 of the EU Visa

Consular Jurisdiction In accordance with article 6 of the EU Visa Agreement: review of application and adoption of it solutions provides the competent Consulate of a member state, in the consular district of which resided lawfully petitioner. Consulate of the competent member state shall consider the petition, filed by a third-country national who is lawfully present but not resident in its consular district, and makes a decision if the petitioner has substantiated the application to this Consulate. In accordance article 7 of the EU Visa Agreement competence to issue visas to third country nationals who are lawfully within the territory of a member state, third country nationals who are lawfully within the territory of a member state which is required to have a visa to enter the territory of one or more other the member States submit their application for visa to the Consulate of a member state, the competent according to paragraphs 1 or 2 of article 5. Visa applications should be submitted to the territorially competent consular office under registration on a residence or the address of actual residence (determined in accordance with the place of work, business or study). All customers willing to apply for a national visa to Poland are requested to obtain a prior appointment to the Visa Application Centre in the respective Consular region. Customers willing to apply for a Schengen visa may submit visa application in the respective Consular region without prior appointment. As per the established rules customers may apply for a national visa to Poland based on the legal registration in a particular Consular region. In case applying for a Schengen visa [not applicable to a visa for work] customers may be legally registered in the other consular region but legally work / study and show a proof of the same while document submission. Territory competence of the Consulates General of Republic of Poland in Ukraine Kyiv Consular jurisdiction: Kyiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kirovograd regions. Customers legally residing in above region may apply at the Visa Application Centre in Kyiv and Kropyvnytskyi. Lviv Consular jurisdiction: Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Zakarpatskyi regions. Customers legally residing in above region may apply at the Visa Application Centers in Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Uzhgorod. Lutsk Consular jurisdiction: Rivne, Lutsk and Ternopil regions. Customers legally residing in above region may apply at the Visa Application Centers in Rivne, Lutsk and Ternopil. Vinnytsya Consular jurisdiction: Khmelnitskyi, Vinnytsya, Zhytomyr, Chernivtsi regions. Customers legally residing in above region may apply at the Visa Application Centers in Khmelnitsky, Vinnitsa, Zhytomyr, Chernivtsi. Kharkiv Consular jurisdiction: Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Sumy, Donetsk, Lugansk and Zaporizhzhya regions. Customers legally residing in above region may apply at the Visa Application Centers in Kharkiv, Dnipro and Zaporizhzhya. Odesa Consular jurisdiction: Odesa, Mykolayiv, Kherson, Crimea regions. Customers legally residing in above region may apply at the Visa Application Centers in Odesa and Kherson. .
