Register to vote How to register Online You can register online at www.vote.wa.gov — you’ll need a Washington State Driver License or ID. Make sure you register online by the July 29 deadline for the Primary Election. By mail Download and print a registration form from www.kingcounty.gov/elections and mail it to our offi ce by the July 29 deadline for the Primary Election. In person You can register in person through August 6, Election Day at one of the vote centers listed on page 6. Keep your voter registration current Update your registration if you have moved or changed your name, or if your signature has changed. Simply update your information online or submit a new registration form by July 29 for the Primary Election or visit us in person through August 6, Election Day at one of the vote centers listed on page 6. 4 Registering to vote has never been easier! Registering to vote has You can register to vote through Election Day! You can now register to vote, update your address, or make other updates to your voter registration through 8 p.m. on August 6, Election Day. See page 6 for a list of vote centers where you can register and vote in person. Registering to vote through the Department of Licensing or Health Benefi t Exchange just got easier! If you are getting an enhanced driver license, you will now be automatically registered to vote or have your address updated. Don’t wish to register? You can opt out. If you are getting a non-enhanced license, you will still be asked if you would like to register to vote. You can now register to vote while signing up for or renewing your health insurance through the Health Benefi t Exchange. Pre-registration for teens 16 and 17 year olds may now pre-register to vote. Registrations submitted online, by mail, or in person will be assigned a ‘pending’ status until they turn 18. If the registrant turns 18 before the next scheduled Election Day, they will automatically be mailed a ballot at their registered address. new 5 Vote centers Vote centers are available for voters that need assistance.
