This update brings Android™ 5.1 Lollipop to your phone along with other improvements. Material Design • Android Lollipop brings the all-new material design, offering fluid animations, vivid colored-themes, and 3-D views for a more visually pleasurable experience. Device Protection • Lost or stolen devices will remain locked until you sign in with your Google account, even if reset to factory settings. You must have a Google account on the device to automatically enable this feature and set a PIN, password or pattern screen lock. Droid Turbo by motorola | For step-by-step instructions on how to perform the download, please visit www.vzw.com/droidturbosupport | Data Usage Applies. © 2015 Verizon Wireless. 0515-I5498 1 2 3 4 5 DROID TURBO Notifications & Priorities • Notifications will appear on the lockscreen and are intelligently ranked by type and who sent them. • Double-tap to open a notification, swipe left or right to clear one, or clear all notifications from the bottom of the list. • Priority and privacy of notifications can be set for each application. • Very high priority notifications will pop up briefly over other applications, allowing action to be taken. • Notifications dismissed on your Droid Turbo will be dismissed on all other Android devices you own, if they are connected to the internet. • Interruptions can be blocked until after the next set alarm goes off. ‘No interruptions’ will only be available if there is an alarm set within the next 12 hours. • Adds icons to the volume settings panel that match those that will show in the status bar (None, Priority). • You can now alter notification volume controls while media is playing. With the volume controls showing, a tap on the bell icon will bring up notification volume controls. Interruptions & Downtime Settings • Interruptions can be customized to display all, none, or only priority interruptions. • You can determine what counts as a primary interruption (reminders, events, calls, messages) and even tailor them to be from only contacts you specify. • The Downtime setting will allow only priority interruptions while active. Ambient Display can be used by unchecking the Moto Display setting in the Moto app. Moto Assist & Downtime • Moto Assist now integrates with the new Downtime feature, allowing you to determine which interruptions you see. Flashlight • Lollipop includes a new flashlight option as part of Quick settings (swipe down with two fingers from the status bar to see it). • Moto Actions lets you turn the flashlight on/off with two chopping motions. App Pinning • Screen pinning allows you to keep a specific app or screen in view. Performance • New feature Android Runtime helps optimize application performance. • After upgrading to Lollipop, your applications will undergo a one-time optimization process that will require additional space.
