The lefty struck out seven and did not issue a walk over six innings. McCarty gave up just one run on four hits. Lansing’s only tally against McCarty came on a solo homer by Matt Morgan in the third. McCarty left the game with the Captains leading, 2-1. Lansing, however, overcame a 3-1 deficit with two runs in the ninth and the Captains ended up winning in 10 innings on a walk-off single by J.J.
