Apple Mail app users From your device’s home screen, navigate to Settings > Passwords & Accounts > Add Account. Select Microsoft Exchange. Enter the following information: o Email: [email protected] email address (e.g., [email protected]) o Description: Exchange automatically populates the description (you may change this if you wish) Select Next. When prompted to sign in to your Exchange account, select Sign In. A university-branded login screen will appear, prompting you for a password. Enter your CIS password, then select Sign in. o You may be prompted to authenticate with Duo Security (Duo 2FA). If you select Send Me a Push, you should receive a notification from Duo on your registered device. Select Approve. If you use a hard token, select Enter a Passcode. Then enter the code provided. Return to Settings to finish setup. Select Continue on the Microsoft login screen. Toggle the options to On (green) or Off (gray) for the functions you'd like to sync (Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, and Notes). o You may be prompted to save or delete existing information on your device. Select Keep on My iPhone/iPad, Delete, or Cancel. Select Save. Your Exchange account now appears in Passwords & Accounts. Select Exchange or the name of your Exchange account to view your account settings. o Note: Adjust Mail Days to Sync according to your preferences. This setting means that only messages received within the time frame you select will appear in any of your folders. Launch the Apple Mail app to view your inbox. .
