The information and recommendations in this report will be used to support the Environmental Impact Report (EIR) evaluation of geology and soils. A summary of our site reconnaissance, records review, hazards analyses, groundwater review, and recommended measures to mitigate the potential soil and geologic hazards is presented. In addition, preliminary foundation design criteria are presented for planning purposes only. Additional subsurface explorations to support the foundation design will be completed when the Project schedule advances to final design. The Project would be located within the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) Campus on an approximately 2.2-acre site at 6067 Wilshire Boulevard at the northeast corner of Wilshire Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue within the Wilshire Community Plan Area of the City of Los Angeles (Site), as shown on the Vicinity Map (Figure 1) and the Site Plan (Figure 2). Existing structures immediately surrounding the Project consist of the Resnick Exhibition Pavilion and Broad Contemporary Art Museum (BCAM)
