NRA Ratings of RI Politicians The higher the grade/score the more they are on the side of the NRA in their voting records, public statements and policy support as graded by the NRA and NRA lobbyists The legislators with red cells are graded favorably by the NRA The legislators with green cells are graded poorly by the NRA We plan to thank those that are green and show support for stronger gun laws and encourage them to keep up the good work representing the positions of their constituents. We plan to let those that are red know that we are aware of their high grade from the NRA and that we won't tolerate the NRA lobbyists having a more powerful voice than those of the people in this state that strict common sense gun laws. RI polling shows that a large majority support stricter gun laws in the state. We plan to ensure our representatives listen to their voters and know that this will be a voting issue in 2014 and beyond. We plan to hold them accountable for their position on gun control when we vote.
