Poultry, Pigeon and Cage Bird Association (Inc.) by whom this schedule is approved. SECRETARY Mrs Karyn Cardno, 7 John Street, Ocean View, Dunedin, 9035. EXHIBITORS The Table Tennis Association have asked that we do not go on the uncovered areas of the playing surface with HARD SHOES, to avoid damage to their floor. THANK YOU ENTRY FEES MEMBERS: Poultry $ 1.50 per entry Bantams $ 1.50 per entry Pigeons $ 1.50 per entry Junior classes $ 0.50 per entry Eggs (incl decorative) $ 1.00 per saucer Cage Birds $ 1.00 per entry The above fees apply to exhibitors for up to 19 entries. 20 or more entries per exhibitor are $1.00 per entry – this applies to members only Juniors exhibiting in open classes must pay open entry fee NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED UNLESS ACCOMPANIED BY AN ENTRY FEE. THIS RULE WILL BE STRICTLY OBSERVED. NON-MEMBERS: Poultry $ 3.00 per entry Bantams $3.00 per entry Pigeons $ 3.00 per entry Junior classes $ 0.50 per entry Eggs (incl decorative) $ 2.00 per saucer Juniors showing the same breed or variety as a senior member of their family MUST show in the OPEN classes. Entries will be accepted on a first in first served basis. The Secretary and Show Manager reserve the right to restrict the total number of entries, should this be deemed necessary MEMBERS must pay their membership at time of entries. A members ticket admits the holder to the show free of charge during the two days. BIRDS MUST NOT BE HANDLED DURING THE SHOW WITHOUT PERMISSION OF SHOW MANAGER BEFORE REMOVING your birds, you MUST get a steward or committee member to check them. 4 All birds left in show pens after 5.00 pm on Saturday 23rd June, except those to be freighted by the committee are left at the owners’ risk. Those exhibitors wishing to sell birds that are not entered in the show can purchase a sale pen for $5, a maximum of 2 birds per pen and these birds are the responsibility of their owner. These pens need to be requested prior to the show. The Annual General Meeting is held on the 2nd Monday of October. All meetings start at 8 pm in the summer and after daylight saving ends at 7.30pm in the clubrooms, 294 Blenheim Road, Christchurch. 5 PRIVATE CUPS Awards and trophies are only open to financial members of the club unless otherwise stated. Cups are not released to winners, but engraved and displayed in the clubrooms. Points to be collected over a 2 year period - the breed for 2018/19 period will be Black Orpington. At the end of 2019 season the exhibitor with the most points for Black Orpingtons will win the Canterbury Challenge Cup.
