JJ Lin’s Biography Introduction Discovered when he enrolled in Very Singers Training Course> organised by Ocean Butterflies Music Forest, JJ Lin first started out performing as backup vocalist and writing songs for various artistes before the entertainment spotlight shone on him. JJ came to musical prominence in Asia after he scored himself a ‘Best Newcomer’ award in the 15th Taiwan Golden Melody Awards (the equivalent of Grammy’s in Asia). Since then he has also won multiple awards in the region, gaining recognition and applause for his musical works far and wide. In 2006, JJ kicked off his first ever world tour Just JJ World Tour 2006 in Asia. Singapore Tourism Board (STB) also promoted his concert in China in support of JJ as STB’s Tourism Ambassador to Greater China . His 2nd world tour commenced in Singapore in March 2009 and will continue all the way into 2010 in Melbourne, Australia, America and other parts of Asia. To date, JJ has 7 albums under his belt and each album has won him various awards and accolades in the Asian region.
