Also known as Khanderaya, Khanderao, Malhari Martand and Mailaralinga, Lord Khandoba is an incarnation of Shiva. He is a very popular deity in Maharashtra. Jejuri is the main centre of worship for Lord Khandoba. The town has two fort-like temples dedicated to this God.
