WAR 28/10/17 - 29/10/17 - “That Dam Ride” aka “Ride of the Dammed” UPDATE 23/10/2017 Only a few days to go until the MCEGC Weekend Away Ride of the Dammed A few people have had to drop out & a few others have filled their place so we are expecting around 21 riders & 8 pillions. Accommodation has been organised at Exchange & Stanley Hotels. Unfortunately, Wayne & Jodie can no longer make it. This means that we have 1 free room if anyone else is interested in coming. See the attached ‘provisional’ room bookings below. We may further tweak the route (possibly en-route) but for the moment if you want to familarise yourself with the route, use the he Google Maps on the MECGC website which have been updated. We are all motorcycle enthusiasts but we realise that some of us ride more enthusiastically than others and accordingly we will have two groups on the ride: Richard & Wayne will be with the enthusiastic riders & Quinn will be with the very enthusiastic riders. The Running Sheet below is a little less provisional but still open to change. On Saturday night we have secured the dining room at the Exchange Hotel. Their menu is quite varied and they seem quite efficient. Tom’s Kilcoy friends will join us. We have tentatively organised to eat at the Meringandan Hotel for lunch on Saturday and Rathdowney Hotel for lunch on Sunday. This could well be too much pub food for most people. Let’s talk about it on Saturday and see what people think. Departure: 8.00 am sharp on Saturday the 28th of October from MECGC Clubhouse. There will be a briefing before we leave at 7.45 am so ideally if you could be at the clubhouse, fully fuelled by then & ready to leave at 8.00. There will be another stop at Canungra State School Carpark for those coming from the north to join us at 8.30 am sharp.
